Supported cameras
The Webcam Tool supports a wide range of cameras, including Canon and Nikon DSLR and system cameras, Sony DSLR and system cameras, GoPro Hero 5, 5 Session, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, Max, Fusion, Xiaomi Yi 4K, Yi 4K+, and DJI Osmo Action and DJI Pocket 2. It also supports custom RTMP servers and file input from mp4 videos.
Supported apps
The Webcam Tool has been successfully tested with Zoom, Skype (desktop edition), and OBS Studio.
System requirements
The Webcam Tool is available for both Apple macOS 10.15/11/12 and newer and Microsoft Windows 10/11, with support for both 32bit and 64bit systems. It is also fully supported on Apple M1 devices and has been certified/notarized by Apple. Optional adapters such as WiFi, Bluetooth BLE (5), LAN cables, and USB cables may be required for certain cameras.

These include the ability to run up to 4 webcams side-by-side (depending on the camera model), show the same camera in multiple apps at the same time, autostart the app in the background and auto connect to cameras, use a custom waiting image, and customize audio and video delay. The app also supports audio output (depending on the camera model) and up to 4k (3820×2160)/60fps resolution (depending on the camera model).
